Document Scanner: photo to PDF, JPG and TIFF

Scan paper with your camera or pick photos/a PDF. Fix the edges, clean it to white, then save as PDF, JPEG or TIFF. You choose page size, pixels and a KB limit. Everything stays on your phone, nothing is uploaded.

1. Add pages

Look (all pages)

Your files never leave this device; all the work happens on this phone or computer.

2. Pages

Tap “Crop” on a page and drag the corners to fix its edges.

How to use the scanner

1. Add pages: tap “Scan with camera” to photograph the paper, or pick several photos from the gallery at once. An existing PDF can be opened too, and its pages are added.

2. Fix them: tap “Crop” on a page and put the four corners on the corners of the paper; a tilted photo becomes straight. “Magic” removes shadows and yellowing so the paper turns white and the text dark.

3. Make the file: choose PDF, JPEG or TIFF, the page size (A4, Letter, Legal, same as photo or custom pixels), DPI and a KB limit, then download or share straight to WhatsApp.

Where it helps

Photo and signature limits (KB and pixels) on job or exam forms, clean Aadhaar/PAN PDFs for bank KYC, one PDF of loan or insurance papers, copies of bills and receipts, and TIFF files for offices. Read the limit written on the form first and pick the same here.

Frequently asked questions

Are my photos or PDFs uploaded to a server?

No. Scanning, cropping, cleaning and making the PDF/JPEG/TIFF all happen inside the browser on your phone or computer. Nothing is sent or stored.

How do I make a photo smaller than 50 KB or 100 KB?

Pick 50 KB or 100 KB under “File size limit” (or type your own). The scanner lowers quality first and then pixels, until the file fits.

How do I make a photo/signature in exact pixels for a form?

Choose “Custom pixels” as the page size and type the width and height (for example 200 × 230). Keep JPEG as the format and add a KB limit if the form needs one. The photo is filled and centre-cropped to that size.

How do I make one PDF from many pages?

Scan pages one by one or pick several photos at once, fix the order with the up/down buttons and choose PDF. All pages go into one PDF.

How do I convert a PDF to JPG?

Use “Open a PDF”; every page becomes a page here. Then choose JPEG. With more than one page you get all the JPEGs in one ZIP file.

What is a TIFF file used for?

TIFF keeps the image without losing quality (lossless), and some office, bank and court systems ask for it. Black-and-white TIFF pages are very small. Many pages go into one TIFF file.

Which DPI should I use?

150–200 DPI is enough for most forms and email. Use 300 DPI for printing or small print. Lower DPI means a smaller file.
